EPC Scotland Ltd offer the Scottish property market a comprehensive Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) service, including rdSAP for existing domestic properties and SBEM for existing non-domestic properties (using iSBEM, Carbon Checker and Design Builder). We can also offer an Accredited Certification of Design (Energy – Section 6) for new build non-domestic properties.
The EPC provides property owners with information regarding its energy performance, along with recommendations on possible improvements to increase the certification level on a standardized national scale.
The EPC uses the now-familiar A-G rating format, similar to those already in place for white goods and comprise an energy efficiency rating and an environmental impact rating, General recommendations will also be provided within the EPC to suggest ways of improving the energy efficiency of the building.
